The Click Five is rock band formed in Boston in mid-2003. Lead guitarist Joe Guese, bassist Ethan Mentzer, and keyboardist Ben Romans were students at the Berklee School of Music when they captured the attention of Svengali manager Wayne Sharp, a longtime jazz promoter whose first attempt at creating a pinup-ready pop combo. Sharp added another Berklee student, drummer Joey Zehr, who recommended childhood friend Eric Dill to fill the band's front man slot, after signing Guese, Mentzer, and Romans.

Click Five began sharpening their chops on the Boston nightclub circuit in the spring of 2004, and cut their first two-song demo session upon receiving their Sharp-issued matching mod-influenced suits and salon-styled haircuts. A four-song tape quickly followed, and within a month the group signed to Lava Records. Soon after touring the U.S. in support of Ashlee Simpson and releasing an EP, Angel to You (Devil to Me), The Click Five's debut LP, Greetings from Imrie House, followed in the summer of 2005 amid a flurry of licensed lunchboxes, trading cards, and hair products. The album was also supported via tour dates in support of the Backstreet Boys. After replacing Dill with singer/guitarist (and fellow Berklee alum) Kyle Patrick, Modern Minds and Pastimes followed in 2007.

OneRepublic is an American pop/rock band formed in Colorado. The group consists of Ryan Tedder as their lead vocalist, guitarist and pianist. Zach Filkins in guitar and vocals, Eddie Fisher in drums, Brent Kutzle in bass, cello and vocal, and Drew Brown in guitar. They drew attention since the release of the hit single, Apologize, which remix is featured on Timbaland’s Timbalands Presents: Shock Value. Apologize is the most legally downloaded song in US digital history with sales of over 4.3 million digital downloads in the US alone. Their debut album was released in the United States on November 20, 2007, with international release dates staggered throughout early 2008.

As of November 1, 2008, Dreaming Out Loud had sold 805,691 copies in the US, with the bands total album sales reaching over 1.5 million worldwide. The band's second single, "Stop and Stare," has also crossed the two million mark in terms of worldwide single sales. Their third single, "Say (All I Need)," has been released in the UK and the US. In September, 2008 the band released their fourth single, "Mercy".

OneRepublic's varied style has made it difficult for the public to place the band in one particular genre of music. Although Ryan describes many of the songs on their album as, 'safe, radio-friendly pop-rock songs with big choruses', they present themselves in the genre of Alternative Rock.

Last September 24, 2008, the band stated during a concert at the London Forum in England, they were working on new material for a new album to be released in the summer of 2009. The band played one of the newly recorded songs titled, "All The Right Moves” which was also stated on 28th September at the Carling Academy in Newcastle.

My Chemical Romance is an alternative pop/rock and punk-pop band. They are in New Jersey. Their name was inspired by author Irvine Welsh (of Trainspotting fame), and while many of their songs are loud, fast, hyper, and aggressive, My Chemical Romance's work also tends to be melodic and pop-minded.

My Chemical Romance got started in the early 2000s, when lead singer Gerard Way and drummer Matt Pelissier decided to try writing some songs together. The first tune that Gerard and Matt, who also had been friends since high school, came up with was called "Skylines and Turnstiles" (a post-9/11 song written after Gerard witnessed the Twin Towers fall while working at his animation job in New York City. Both felt good about the song, and Gerard asked guitarist Ray Toro if he would be interested in working with them. My Chemical Romance's five-man lineup was complete when Gerard, Matt and Ray joined forces with bassist Mikey Way (Gerad's little brother) and guitarist Frank Iero. With that lineup in place, the band started playing all around the Northeast Corridor and made plans to begin working on their first album.

In 2002, the band signed to Eyeball Records and released their debut album I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love. In 2003, My Chemical Romance signed with Reprise/Warner Bros. and released the aggressively slick Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge one year later. Proving to be hugely popular, the album boasted several successful singles on commercial radio and MTV, including "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)," "Helena," and "The Ghost of You," as the album climbed the Billboard charts. On the next year, they signed with Reprise Records and released their major label debut Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. The album was a commercial success, selling over one million copies. The band followed this success with 2006's The Black Parade, featuring their hit singles, "Welcome to the Black Parade", "Famous Last Words", "I Don't Love You", and "Teenagers". The band also filmed a live DVD in Mexico City, which was released on July 1, 2008.

Robert Kelly “Rob” Thomas is an American pop-rock recording artist, and songwriter. He is the primary songwriter and lead singer of the band Matchbox Twenty and formerly of the band Tabitha’s Secret. Rob also records and performs as a solo artist. He earned three Grammy awards for co-writing and singing on the Carlos Santana triple-platinum hit "Smooth" on the album Supernatural in 1999.

He has also lent his songwriting talents to such artists as Willie Nelson, Mick Jagger, Marc Anthony, Pat Green, Taylor Hicks, Travis Tritt and Daughtry.

Since 1996, his band, Matchbox Twenty, has released a string of hit singles to radio including "Push", "3 A.M", "Real World", "Back 2 Good", "Bent", "If You’re Gone", "Mad Season", "Disease", "Unwell", "Bright Lights", and "How Far We’ve Come". In 2004, the Songwriters Hall of Fame awarded Thomas its first Starlight Award, recognizing young songwriters who have already made a lasting impact in the music industry.

On April 19, 2005, after nearly 10 years with Matchbox Twenty, Thomas began his solo career with the release of …Something to Be which shot to #1 on the album chart. This marked the first time a male artist from a rock and/or pop group had debuted at number one with his first solo album since the Billboard Top 200 was introduced 50 years ago. His first single off this album, "Lonely No More", reached number six on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart.

In January 2007, Thomas released a single entitled "Little Wonders" from the soundtrack to the Disney animated feature, Meet the Robinsons. As of April 22, 2007, "Little Wonders" has reached #5 on the Media base Hot Adult Contemporary chart. Thomas was featured on the June 14, 2007, episode of the long-running PBS series Soundstage. He is expected to release his second studio album sometime in 2008. Thomas and his recently reunited band Matchbox Twenty released another album entitled Exile on Mainstream. According to Billboard Magazine, Thomas second studio album will be released in early 2009. It is tentatively titled "Cradle Songs".
